It's pretty standard—once you place your order, we begin to process it. After we process it, we ship out the shoes and send them on their way to you. Because we ship from two locations (our warehouse and our store), and because we are a tiny team of three, processing may take up to 72 hours. That being said, we typically get orders out the same day depending on order volume.

Any orders placed on weekends or holidays will generally begin processing the next business day.

If you need an order right away, your best bet will be to select expedited shipping at checkout and shoot us an email with your order number letting us know when exactly you need it by, so we can do our best to get your shoes out right away. Estimated shipping times will appear below each shipping method once you've entered your address on the checkout page.

 

SHIPPING DOMESTICALLY

We offer free ground shipping for domestic orders over $250. If your order is under that or you want to choose a different shipping method, we offer the below options:

UPS Ground

UPS 3 Day Select

UPS 2nd Day Air

UPS Next Day Air

All orders will ship from either our Ventura warehouse or Downtown Los Angeles store. If you live in California, Ground shipping usually takes within 1-2 business days once shipped. For all other states, it usually takes between 3-5 business days.  

 

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY

All international shipments will also go through UPS. We offer the following shipping methods for international shipping:

UPS Worldwide Expedited (3-5 business days)

UPS Worldwide Saver (1-3 business days)

Please note, at this time, taxes & duties are not included in our shipping costs and will be billed to you through UPS once the order gets to customs in your country. If you'd like more information on duty estimates, please contact UPS.

 

WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE RECYCLED BOX OPT-IN AT CHECKOUT?

Here at Charlotte Stone Shoes Headquarters, we’re trying to figure out how we can cut down on our carbon footprint. From our sustainable footwear materials to our recycled office paper, we’re always trying to do better. Since our online business has grown in a big way this year, so has our pile of cardboard recycling. It’s an inevitable: you sell more shoes, you ship more shoes, you have more cardboard shipping to recycle. Plus some of you have figured out that you’re between sizes, so you buy two pairs and send one back. We’re cool with that! But it means returned cartons that are nowhere near the end of their life, and we feel like they want to see more of the world. So we came up with a plan: add an opt-in at checkout to have us ship your shoes in a recycled carton. You’ll still get the same beautiful shoebox and dust bag packaging (all made from natural and/or recycled materials), but your shipping carton will have been around the block once or twice. And who cares, right? It’s what’s inside that counts. So if you’re not into judging a book by its cover, opt-in to save a lightly used box from the recycle bin.
