I saw someone wearing these at the salon I go to, and it was love at first sight. I had to have them. The reviews were a little mixed with sizing so I opted to listen to the advice on the site to go next size up for half sizes, but when I received them they were definitely too big for me. I wear a size 5.5 and I exchanged them for size 5. I do have narrow skinny feet so maybe that's why size 5 worked best for me. I am so glad I made the purchase though because they are perfection! I haven't received any compliments yet, which I am resentful about but I'm sure one will come soon ;)

Dozens of compliments her first day out! These boots are very comfortable but a tad bit bigger than all my other Charlotte Stone boots. But all in all, I’m very happy she joined the family.

First impression out of the box was that the leather was nice and thick. Embossing looked great. I’m usually an 8.5 in non-CS sandals but always go for a 9 here (and in boots in general). Got a 9 in these and it was a little tough getting my foot in. Thank gawd for the side zip, because the stiffness of the leather meant there was no give. Once my foot was in, the fit was quite snug. Lots of room in the toe though, no squeeze from the pointy part. One thing that surprised me was the “made in China” scrawled inside the shaft, and I noticed a sticker on the sole that said “9”. Must be placed over the European size that’s stamped into the sole beneath it, but the sticker just looked kinda cheap, which surprised me because Charlotte shoes are luxe. This was my first pair of CS boots and tbh, I kinda felt like they weren’t quite on par with my 3 pairs of Lenus and many clogs! Still curious about the cowboy boots tho, so we shall see if they change my opinion.

Edit: the “9” sticker I refer to was over “40” (the European size). Just thought it looked cheap to stick the US size over the euro size, that’s all.
