Beautiful but not for me

These boots have no traction at all. And they hard to get on. I'm sure they'll break in eventually.

While all the shoes are gorgeous at Charlotte, none of these shoes fit a wide foot. Ive tried two three styles so far and none of them fit well.

Hi Shemona, thank you for your feedback about Tessie. We are so sorry to hear she was not a great fit for you. Because Tessie's outsoles are leather, they will seem slippery at first but will gain traction from abrasion on rough outside surfaces. We recommend rubbing your shoes outside on concrete or asphalt for just a minute and it will provide the abrasion needed for the leather soles to have traction. We're so sorry to hear that the styles you've tried haven't been a great fit, but we'd be happy to assist you further or make recommendations based on your measurements with our Fit Guide. These shoes are gorgeous, well-made, and incredibly unique. I’ve never owned anything quite like them! I will say that I struggled getting my foot into the opening at first, even with the zipper— that problem went away after several wears though. I’ve read other reviews that say these boots run big, but I disagree. I’m a true 8 and they fit well. Such a good purchase and definitely worth what I paid! I will wear them forever. :)

I bought a pair Tessie’s in flame (pink). I love that they are made in Mexico, and so well made. Like all superb leather boots one needs a shoe horn. They broke-in within a few wears, almost feel like slippers on the foot pad. As I wore them, the compliments came from men and women of all ages. How many beautiful pair of pink-ish cowboy boots does one have a chance to see??

The only cowboy boots without a break-in period?!

Absolutely fabulous design and I love the stitching detail on the Flame color. I wore thick socks and even packed bandaids when I wore them out for the first time, expecting that there would be blisters but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was still comfortable and blister-free at the end of the night. I wear a 10 in all Charlotte Stone shoes and ordered a 10 for these as well.

In person, the boots are more of a fuchsia than red but if anything I like them more :)
