Thank you so much! Paper Papayas is the culmination of artistic expression through my interpretation of Caribbean culture in addition to my personal style that happens to take its form in bold handmade accessories! It’s a community of beautiful people who are not afraid to think outside the box and stand firm in their own confidence. And …I love it here!

Born in NYC, Currently residing in Las Vegas

Prismatic, Statement, Expressive
And how would your friends describe your style?
Probably … eclectic
What do you want your style to say about you?
I want my style to show that I can’t be boxed in. That wear what I love and that I’m comfortable with who I am!
What are you most excited about right now?
Honestly, my small business keeps me going. It’s hard work but I love creating and being able to share these wearable art pieces with others. And then seeing how excited my community gets about my creations as well, is a constant source of joy for me.
If you had to wear the same outfit every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Baseball hat, button down, denim skirt, Charlotte Stone.
What do you pick out first when getting dressed?
You know, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I start with the top…or maybe a skirt. Sometimes I start with the shoes or even the earrings!
You're somewhat of a Charlotte Stone connoisseur, which of our shoes do you currently own and do you have an all-time favorite pair?
Oh gosh…where to start?! I currently own about 13 pairs…( Fran, Maud, Marlo, Lenu, Sylvia, Priya, Ellery, Raf, Noemi, Zuma, Conrad, Mireille, and Kayla) there were more… but did you know sometimes your feet grow during pregnancy?! Lol I learned that the hard way. So now I’m working on boosting my collection! I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite but I will say I get so many compliments on Lenu, Noemi, and Raf.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
Could be Vision of Love by Mariah Carey… could be Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice
What are you watching or reading or hobbying right now?
My 18 month old...What are hobbies?!
What article of clothing are you living in right now?
Always denim skirts. Always.
What's something that always serves as an instant mood-boost for you?
Caribbean Food and 90s Hip Hop Describe your “perfect” day. My favorite thing is spending time with my husband and son, if brunch and cocktails are included that’s pretty much my ideal day!
What are your favorite pair of jeans right now?
A pair a utility jeans by Pilcro I found at Anthropologie! They’re called the Wanderer and they’re pretty great.
What is your favorite season and why?
Autumn in New York City- there is nothing like crisp November air and crunchy leaves under your feet. But…Springtime in Paris. The blooming flowers and the romance of it all.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?
I’m going with Chlorokinesis because my house plants could use the help
